GUIDELINES

Abstract Submission:

The EPNOE Junior Scientist Meeting 2024 Committee welcomes the submission of high quality abstracts for the different topic sessions.

To submit your abstract:

  • Kindly complete and submit this form
  • Send us your abstract (max 1 page, in Word format) via email at miriam.topo@kuleuven.be. Please use the abstract template provided here. The file name must be SessionX_TYPE_Surname (TYPE = ORAL, POSTER or PITCH+POSTER, X = session number).
  • Submission deadline: 14 April, 2024

Oral Presentations:

Slides must be in English and prepared using PowerPoint software with a preferred aspect ratio of 16:9 (widescreen). Laptops with MS Windows – MS Office PowerPoint are installed in the lecture rooms. Please put your presentation the latest in the break before your session onto the laptop in the lecture room.

  • Plenary Lecture: 40 minutes (30 + 10)
  • Keynote Lecture: 25 minutes (20 + 5)
  • Oral Presentations: 15 minutes (12+3)

Poster and Pitch Presentations:

  • Pitch + poster communications: 3 minutes of oral presentation, one PPT slide (e.g., graphical abstract) for advertising your poster communication before the poster session. For poster instructions see below.
  • Poster only communications: Posters must be in English and in the vertical orientation with a recommended (and maximum) size of DIN A0 (771 x 1090 mm). Pins and poster walls are available in the room.
