Applied Research

The applied research activity of the 16 EPNOE Members is boosted by the existence of EPNOE due to the capability of each Member to rely on the expertise and equipment of the other Members.

Every year, more than 170 research projects are starting between EPNOE members and companies.

EPNOE members have a large experience in building and running large EC projects like:

  1. STEP, coordinated by Dornbirn (Marie Curie Research network, 4.3 Meuros), start end 2008
  2. Surfuncell, coordinated by Graz (research project, 8 Meuros), start January 09
